Doug has spent over thirty years helping others reach their goals. His focus is shifting from those starting their careers to those seeking home ownership with a goal of cultivating new homeowner’s love for their new home.

Experience:

  • 40+ years teaching and working in construction fields

  • 15+ years teaching at Morrisville Agricultural Engineering Technology and Technical College in NYS

  • 12+ years faculty member at MSOE teaching construction and design of building systems

  • 6+ years as VP of research and development at an onsite wastewater technology vendor

  • 6+ years as a project engineer and supervisor at Ruekert & Mielke Engineering 

  • And just as important: Owned and lived in 6 homes; some great, some not

  • Over 27 years teaching future builders

  • 12 years consulting about, developing, and installing building systems

  • Wisconsin Onsite Water Recycling Association (WOWRA) Private Onsite Wastewater Treatment System (POWTS) inspector (#20221209)

  • Wisconsin licensed pump installer (for Private Well Inspections) (License #9147)
